We chose this ship because of I wanted to go to St. Petersburg, Russia; and we have been really pleased with Celebrity in the past. For some unknown reason, we experienced a good bit of vibration in our midship cabin and also on the Oceanview (14th) dining floor. After Day 10 of 13, the problem was resolved, and there was no issue after that. Food good in the main dining room, okay on Oceanview. We did not try out the specialty restaurants. Shows were good with only one aimed at British humor. Being Americans, we didn't understand the jokes. Our cabin and steward were very nice. We had a drinks package that, if you drink, is really nice. You don't have to sign for anything, just show your seapass. We did not do any Celebrity excursions, but booked a GuideGuru 2-day tour in St. Petersburg. It was delightful with 8 people one day and 4 the next. Eight is their max. Good, knowledgeable guides who were personable, as opposed to others we heard about. Just the two of us traveled, ate in the "no reservations" dining room every night because we enjoy meeting our fellow travelers. In the other ports, we elected the Hop On, Hop Off for sightseeing and museum tours. I would go on Celebrity again but not to these same ports.

Cabin C2

Our steward, Michael, was very conscientious, pleasant, and willing to do whatever we asked--shoe shine, etc. Cabin was always clean and pretty.
