Sail Date: Aug 2017

We sailed on the Columbus as a middle-aged couple celebrating a belated honeymoon. The Canaries and Madeira cruise offered summertime warmth, great sights, and enough sea days to relax and spend time together. The newly refitted ship was clean, and bright. This was a voyage with great potential.

We arrived in Tilbury, and embarkation went smoothly. We arrived at our cabin and it was spacious and had an above average sized ocean view window. We were on an upper deck, and the views were great. The steward was amazing and learned our names on our first meeting.

The reception staff, were wonderful as well. I cannot fault them for the efforts they put forth to make us feel welcomed, and cared for.
