The cruise was nice but I really expected more. It was a once in a life time experience so my expectations were really high. The cabin was good but was not clean... what a disappointment, seriously I had to clean the toilet before using, very unhappy. The cabin was as I expected otherwise, plenty of closet space for two, we had a balcony The ship was well maintained and the staff was very and helpful and friendly. Dining was wonderful especially the specialty dining, I would strongly recommend at least a 3 day package. Ports and Shore excursions were very good but very pricey all the tour guides were very informed and courteous. We really enjoyed the Deluxe Road to Hana and Gayle was Great. Activities on board were great and kept you busy if you had no desire to do excursions. There was one big disapointment and this was the music in the Mardi Gras Lounge. The music that the DJ played was primarily music from 2000"s, The majority of the passengers were age 50 and above so I expected to hear music from 70's and up. 90% of the music was from 2016-17. The same music was played every night from 10pm - close. I spoke with the Director of Entertainment and he advised me that he always looks at the age range of guess on Pride of America to decide the type of music and entertainment the guess would prefer, unfortunately he failed the week we sailed.
