Having sailed on the Wind Surf three years ago, I must say that I was slightly disappointed with the STAR BREEZE experience.

First of all the PROS -

. very nice stateroom on deck 4 (130), large, confortable bed, wonderful shower and a very ample walk-in closet with plenty of room to store everything.

Port Reviews

Venice

Third time sailing out of Venice, wonderful La Serenissima!!! and sixth time in Venice so no need for tours.

Rovinj

Hired a private guide and driver and visited Pula, Porec and Rovinj. All three were beautiful.

Split

Again, hired a private guide and driver and visited Trogir and Split. Second time in both. Wonderful.

Dubrovnik

Hired a private guide. This was our second visit.

Taormina (Messina)

This was our second time in Taormina. Had previously stayed for a week so just took a taxi from the port up to Taormina and walked and had lunch on our own.

Positano (Amalfi)

Again, this was our second time in Positano so we just took a boat from Amalfi to Positano and walked on our own and had a lovely lunch before returning to the ship.

Due to the disorganized tender service, we were only able to leave the ship late and had no time to go to Capri which is what the 6 of us wanted to do. We have all been to Capri before but were disappointed in not being able to visit again - Why not anchor at Capri directly instead of Amalfi??
