First off, we chose the Norwegian Escape to the Eastern Caribbean because the other Norwegian one that we already booked on we had a conflict so we cancelled, so we booked this one rather last minute. We booked the end of July for an August 26th cruise. When we booked it, the price kept going down I guess to fill up the boat. Our cruise was totally full.

To get on the ship, it took from start to finish through customs and check in and then waiting for the last cruise to get off was 30 minutes. Incredibly easy and painless.

We ate at three specialty restaurants: Brazilian Steakhouse, Japanese Steakhouse, and the Italian Restaurant. Both the Italian and the Japanese was exceptional, the Brazilian Steakhouse was good not great. The meat came out too well done for us. We like it rare-medium rare. If we had it to do again, we would eat at Cagney's instead, its a shame because we love meat. We tried to make reservations before we boarded the ship, but they were all full. One thing they do not tell you is they only allow 25% to pre-book the restaurants, the rest of the restaurants reservations open up when you get on the ship. We ate at the complimentary restaurants - Taste, Savor and the Manhattan Room. Savor was pretty slow, compounded by bringing out the kids food first, then our daughter had to wait 50 minutes until we get fed. You must tell these restaurants to serve the kids meal with the rest of them. We found out they automatically deliver it right away. All the food was exceptional. We ate once at O'Sheehans. Our food took a long time, but still it was good. Every morning we had Garden Buffet for breakfast. Overall the food on this ship was exceptional. Everything we ate, we liked a lot and there was plenty of it.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

The cabin was great with lots of room. The bunk pulled down and was put up during the day to make more room.
