Sail Date: Aug 2017

Just returned from 7 day cruise on Tui Discovery 26th Aug ~ 2nd Sept, boarding all went smoothly and in our cabin (7124) before 11.30 . There was a delay with luggage due to technical issues. Had previously sailed on the ship under past owners Royal Caribbean Splender Of The Seas so knew the lay out.The cabin had small balcony with 2 chairs and table, patio doors and balcony metal work all showing its age, bathroom had very small sink and shower with the clinging curtain. Atrium is very nice but one of the glass lifts was out of order all week, Gallery 47 & 47 degree restaurants both lovely but found service a bit slow in the 47 degree.

The making of our holiday was the show team and the Broadway Show Lounge deck 4 with excellent shows each evening.

NOW THE BAD POINTS. I don't think the all-inclusive drinks package is a good thing; i like a drink myself but guests went over the top from 10am till late evening, becoming a nuisance in the evening. Also getting 4- 6 drinks at a time using one card, causing long queues at bars with bar staff run off there feet. Drinks should be one drink, one card.

Cabin DELUXE BALCONY CABIN

Had problem with air con which was quickly repaired.

Work getting carried out on balconies which left paint flakes on seating and table, and never cleaned. Also under bed has never been vacuumed in a while
