From the moment my daughter and I embarked to the moment we disembarked we were on an enchanted journey. Embarkation was a breeze and loved having champagne offered as you stepped aboard. The Equinox is the most beautiful and elegant ship. We boarded around 11.30 and went straight to the Oceanview buffet for lunch. The selection was amazing. The food was delicious. One would be very picky to not enjoy everything on offer. Our cabins were ready shortly after 1.00 pm and what a delight they were. I had cabin 8245 and my daughter 8241. We were more than impressed with these delightful balcony cabins and also our wonderful cabin attendant, Francesco who took great care of us during the cruise. Our cabin was attended to at least three times a day, being remade and supply of fresh towels. The chocolates on the pillow of an evening were a nice touch.

My daughter and I ate in Silhouette dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner and found the meals faultless. We were looked after by the charming Oscar and nothing was too much trouble for him and his assistant (I think Darwin). Our wine steward made sure my glass never quite reached empty. Thank you. My son-in-law is a chef and I do like my food. Silhouette dining was sublime. I have read some of the critical reviews and find them unbelievable.

I loved the pool area and found the dancing by the pool fun and entertaining. My daughter used the gym every day and being a gym manager was very impressed with the equipment.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2A

Cabin 2A

Great cabin with great balcony, made all the better because of our cabin attendant Francesco. Plenty of storage, lovely bathroom, just a great cabin

Port Reviews

Miami

Stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel with views of the Port of Miami. Lovely way to start the holiday

San Juan

My daughter and I walked around San Juan as we only had a few hours in this port.

St. Thomas

We did our own thing on St Thomas, took an open taxi to Magen Bay Beach and swam and then returned to town for some retail therapy. Great day.
