Sail Date: Aug 2017

After a dodgy start caused by a cancelled flight and then a missed connection, once we finally got onto the ship everything was great.

The ship itself is very smart, cabins large, food excellent, great service from predominately Cambodian and Vietnamese staff.

The best part, however, was the quality of the excursions, - all included and really well thought out and put together. They were fascinating showing real life along the Mykong. The tour guides were all excellent - knowledgeable, witty and helpful. Examples of how cleverly they were put together were things like going to high tea at Raffles Hotel in Phnom Penh, but travelling on a tuk-tuk. Another trip included visiting villages on an ox cart. The Killing fields was very moving. But my highlight were a couple of trips to monasteries seeing both monks, nuns and trainee monks.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe

Large cabin, walk in closet, good shower, plenty of storage. Beds very comfortable, but the sofa was rather narrow and therefore not very comfortable.
