Vision of the Seas

We were concerned that the Vision would be so small that we would be bored to tears on a 16 nt cruise, but we were happily surprised. Hubby missed an indoor movie theater and a basketball court, but we enjoyed how easy it was to navigate the ship. There were 700+ Diamond and above cruisers on this trip, so the "Some Enchanted Evening" Lounge was used for free drinks/snacks in the evening. Plenty of room for all.

Chris Hopkins was our Cruise Director and this is a new role for him. I've never had a better cruise director! He was everywhere, involved in everything, and always wanting to stop and chat with passengers. His assistant Angelle, was also very, very good. They held the usual "Love and Marriage" and "Quest" shows, but also added some things we'd never seen that were fun.

We had the best head waiter ever (Das, from India). He was busy, busy, busy....helping his staff do their jobs, at the entry to the dining room every evening, passing out hand sanitizer, and in the Windjammer every morning busing tables, delivering drinks and whatever else needed to be done. Always with enthusiasm and a smile. He definitely enhanced our cruise experience.

Cabin Review

Cabin Preferred Ocean View Cabin

This cabin is a preferred ocean view and the BEST!! Would definitely recommend. There are four of these cabins on each side of the ship, on decks 7 and 8. I've heard the cabins on deck 8 can be a little loud due to being under the pools. Our cabin on 7 was very quiet. Yes, you can hear some of what is going on in the Centrum, but they close the hallway doors by 9:30pm and it was never a bother to us.
