Overall a great trip! Some highlights:
- The front desk staff performed an amazing feat of memorization, and knew everyone's name by the first evening
- The food was *fantastic* throughout.
The cabin was very spacious; plenty of storage space, plus a seating area. We had breakfast in the room a couple of times, and there was no trouble fitting us and several plates at the table. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and surprisingly spacious, the toiletries were high quality. Overall it was very pleasant. The engines are toward the rear of the ship, and the passenger rooms don't go all the way to the bow, so our room was very quiet with little engine noise and few people passing in the hallway.
We stayed in Athens for a few days before our cruise to visit some of the archeological sites. It's an amazing city!
Highly recommend the Silo Art Gallery near Mycenae; they offer hands-on pottery workshops, and have an extensive gallery of pottery and statuary if you're looking to buy something. Even if you aren't, touring the workshops is fascinating.
Kafkas spice market (right near the port entrance) is a great place to pick up some snacks and souvenirs. They're very honest and won't try to charge you overinflated tourist prices.
