I have to preface this review by saying the crew did an excellent job. Very friendly, courteous and did very well with what they had to work with.

We have cruised several times with other cruise lines such as Princess and Norwegian. Multiple times with Princess.

The cruise itinerary included Norway, Iceland, Halifax and ending in Boston. After Iceland there was a 5 day at sea schedule that just didn't do it for us. It might have been different on a ship that actually had things to do but Serenade of the Seas provided lackluster entertainment and on board activities were mediocre at best. Definitely not worth calling it a 15 day cruise. But, we knew the itinerary before we signed up.

Cabin K

Good. Our cabin attendant was excellent.

Port Reviews

Akureyri

Again, did our own thing with a rented car. It was cheaper than the tour rip offs.

Copenhagen

We had problems with TapPortugal in Lisbon which was a fiasco. We missed our flight as a direct result of ineptitude on the part of the airline. We were supposed to spend a day in Copenhagen but sadly stood in repetitious lines and ended up in Prague. Didn't get to Copenhagen until 8PM.

Halifax

We've been here before and just walked around. The Public Garden was excellent.

Oslo

We've been to Norway before (Bergen) and just kind of did our own thing. We must have walked 10 miles.
