We drove from Philadelphia PA to Charleston SC for this cruise. This was our first cruise. It was myself, my husband and our 2 children ages 6 & 9. We purchased Faster to the Fun, getting on was a breeze. We were on the ship and eating lunch in about 30 minutes from the time we parked the car. We dropped our luggage off in our room (we opted to carry on our luggage since our room was ready). The crew is so helpful and friendly. The ship was clean, they are always cleaning it.

We mostly ate at the Lido Restaurant (buffet). We did go to the dining room for elegant night, we had the anytime dining since we can't commit to a time with kids. Guys burgers were great, I think my son and husband had at least 1 everday. Food was good, we aren't picky eaters so we liked the food.

We saw a few shows and we went to the PG comedy show. Cruise director Gary was awesome, he was fun and energetic. The fun squad was great and entertaining, they bring the fun wherever they are. Our room steward Agus always remembered our names and kept our room perfect. My kids loved the towel animals. We took the kids to Camp Ocean once while we went to the casino. They seemed to like it, but my kids are shy so they really didn't seem to make friends.

Cabin 4C

We had an interior room. It was a king bed with 2 upper pullmans. It was actually bigger than I thought it would be. We had 3 closets so we had plenty of room. The bathroom and shower were a nice size. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. We didn't spend much time in the room anyway. The room was always clean and the beds were comfy.

Port Reviews

Freeport

We just hit up some shops at the Port Lucaya Marketplace. Van ride over our driver was telling us some facts about Freeport, so it was like a mini tour on our way to the Marketplace. Van ride was $10 per person round trip.

Princess Cays

The beach was beautiful and the water was crystal clear. Loved it here!

Charleston

We didn't do much while in Charleston since it was stormy when we arrived the day beofre the cruise. We did eat at Bubba Gump Shrimp and it was great!
