Sail Date: Aug 2017
Cabin: Veranda Suite

We chose this specific voyage due to the itinerary - with stops in Iceland, Greenland & the northern tip of Newfoundland being the most of interest.

This was our third Silver Sea cruise, but at 17 days the longest we'd ever been on a ship.

The Whisper is an older ship, but well maintained. Don't be looking for a lot of glitz - it is understated class more than 'in your face' fancy.

Veranda Suite

Cabin V3

Typical SilverSeas veranda suite. Bathroom has walk in shower, separate tub, and two sinks. Location: Mid ship, not too high - go up one deck for breakfast & lunch, down one deck to the bar & reception area. There is a laundry facility close by, which came in handy on this long voyage. This suite is on the port side, so when crossing the Atlantic east to west we had sunshine on our veranda most of the day, and also got some spectacular sunrises. Those who prefer to sleep in might prefer the other side of the ship.
