we picked this cruise to see places we have not been to. the public areas are decent, but the cabins stink. the food [gluten free] is not really their best. in fact neither is their regular menu. it got so we had the waiter, asst., head waiter @ our table most nights taking comments to get to the kitchen [hope it will help future cruisers]. boarding, on & off are simple easy & efficient, we carry off. as stated the cabins & many public areas need a lot of help. entertainment is not too bad, had a British 'comedian' we couldn't understand nor enjoy. and never saw so many people [walk out] leave a theater.rest of the entertainment is pretty standard, musicians are good throughout. service except for our waiters, head waiter, assts. seem not too interested in the guests.

ports are not well defined if you are not taking on RC excursion. and the only one we enjoyed was Honfleur [beautiful little city/town] that shouldn't be missed [see photos]. most others we didn't get what we expected, nor paid for. hop on off buses in Lisbon, Vigo & Tenerife, not worth the trouble. in fact in Tenerife, one bus a day @ noon [& of course it was too late].

GranCanaria the taxi 'took' us, asked for 3hr, 80 euro tour, which he stretched into 4hrs & then charged 100 euro & not what was on the meter. look out for Jacinto in cab #111. PontaDelgada we took a private tour to see the island w Harmony Trail [see photo]. pretty good but needs some amplification in the back seats.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin L

cabin was old & dirty when we arrived & was not ready by 1PM as printed, & not till 2PM.

we had to use a washcloth to clean the 'desk' area where you sit, sticky, dirty - it came off

black after multiple washings, the love seat in the cabin was dirty spotted & we asked for & received a sheet to cover it so we could use it [they did offer to replace it]. plumbing was not up to par. and since it seems the ship was 'refurbished' in 2014, but we think they forgot to do the cabins.
