We had cruise before with Carnival so we had booked to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary as well I was leaving for deployment 3 days after we returned so it was to be a special time. We got to the port early and checked our bags I was short one tag so I was told to get in another line and I would get one inside. I waited in that line got all the way inside they started to take my bag and I said I need a tag. I was then told I had to see the lady in the front area so I go wait in that line I inform the lady from carnival I needed a tag. She told me to go outside t get one from the porter. I informed her they sent me to the other people who then sent me to her. She responded not my problem go see the porter I again said that's where I started again not my problem cant help you. I finally got a tag from a porter outside where I started.

Ok now it starts getting better we get on board and go to our room where I go to use the bathroom and there is crap in the toilet, upon further inspection of the room there is stuff in the fridge and trash in the closet dust an inch thick dirty towels that looked like they cleaned the ship wit them. I went to customer service and complained so they come and squirted some bowl cleaner in the toilet an removed the items from the fridge. The food if you were able to get to the buffet you couldn't find a place to sit I ate some salad and cheese that's all I could get, Supper that night was good in the dining room, after that it was horrible service was non existent and food un edible. so back to customer service I informed them there was still trash in the closet broken cabinet door dust I could write in and the towels were filthy the food service was horrible and at this point we just wanted to leave we were afraid to even sleep in the bed because we doubted if the sheets had even been changed. They apologized ad offered a dinner in the steak house, that night at dinner we went o the dining room and we were flagged we were sat by the window servers overboard and the matradee came over and asked that we had had a problem and with the service and wanted to know what happened as other guest watched as we were grilled. We had become those people being in the Service industry my whole life I knew what that meant. Getting back to our rom I was met by our house keeper I took him in showed him all the issues with the room and said today was good I had one clean towel.

The next night we went to the steak house and ate it was ok but they forgot part of our food but I was not about to complain. We went back to the dining room the next night well the crappy service returned as well as the crappy food. Even the Buffet I waited at the desert bar for a slice of Cheese cake the lady served 8 people behind me before I finally tossed my plate down eve the other guest were he was here first it was like I did not exist. But the took my money we even got a Balcony to be extra special and enjoy the views.
