We chose this cruise quite by accident because some friends were already booked and we decided to tag along. We could not have been luckier. We ended up with the last room on the boat, suite 308 - which we loved!
The ship is constantly being cleaned, we never had a dirty window. The crew was young and friendly and from a variety of countries through Europe and abroad. We loved the diversity.
With the suite you also get free laundry service - which sounds silly - but it was the icing on the cake for me! The space in our room and the additional light was wonderful. I never felt closed in.
We loved this room! It was close to the middle of the ship, so easy to get in and out. There are only 7 veranda suites on this boat + 2 large owner suites. This was the perfect size for us - on a long 2 week trip it was fabulous to have the extra living space area. We also really liked having 2 large windows - one in the bedroom ( a french balcony) and one off the living area - an actual private balcony. Another bonus we did not expect was a re-stocked mini fridge every day with beer, wine, soda and fizzy water. In addition to a fresh bottle of water and 4 pieces of fresh fruit. We were so lucky to have this space.
Took the optional tour to the courtrooms and it is not to be missed. The history here was palatable and riveting. Definitely the historical highlight of our trip.
Loved walking around the town. So many nice shops and coffee spots. The walking tour was fine, not too inspired but interesting.
Our guide was Toby and he was our favorite of the entire trip. So funny and interesting, it made it easy to remember a lot of fun details about Wurzburg and Germany.
