All and all it is was great cruise, there were a few missteps along the way but nothing major in my book. Ship was overall very clean, our cabin was spotless, and well cared for. Overall the ship could use a bit of paint touch-up here and there, but it all works fine.
Dining seemed to be kind of hit and miss, Cagney's was better than average, but I've been to better steak houses. La Cucina was a pleasant surprise, food was great, service was even better. Moderno was a disappointment, food was pretty much all overcooked, and service was incredibly slow, cocktails from the bar were pretty much undrinkable due to a heavy handed bartender. Both main dining rooms were average, one waiter in Indigo was well a jerk, good thing the assistant waiter more than made up for his bad attitude. Buffet was well a buffet, and about what you'd expect, although sitting in Great Outdoors was great. O'Sheehan's was good, unless you just wanted something sweet after the buffet closed up, then again it could have been just the waiter having a bad day.
The thermal suit part of the spa should stay open a bit later, especially on an Alaska trip, and the water could be a bit hotter, but that's more personal choice than anything. I didn't find the heated lounges to be very comfortable, although my wife loved them.
Nice cabin, short walk to elevator's and stair's, pretty much the same as all balcony's on Jewel class ships I suppose. Very quiet no noise whatsoever outside of the normal sound of water as the ship moves forward.
