We chose this cruise due to itinerary. Previously we had a great experience on a German Christmas Market cruise.
Due to weather, we were unable to go to Valencia and had a delay for disembarking in Barcelona also due to weather.. The cruise personnel handled the situation extremely well. They took care of all the airline changes necessary for a departure delay of one day.
Due to weather in the US, we departed a day early and thus had a full day in Rome to explore prior to departure. The insurance we had covered the hotel in Rome, which was great.
