We flew in to Rome 1.5 days early to see the Trevi Fountain again (my 2nd favorite thing in Rome) and go in to St Peter's, as we could not go in the last time that we were in Rome.

When we got to the ship, we were surprised at how large it was but the embarkation process could not have been faster or smoother. After 2 riverboat cruises with Viking, we had fun exploring all of the beautiful nooks and crannies onboard. For a couple of days we thought that there were only a couple hundred people on the boat, but found out that there were over 900. There was never a line or a crowd anywhere!

This was a special celebration along with a special birthday Viking made sure that we had reservations on our first night on board at Manfredi's for the birthday dinner.

Cabin Review

Cabin penthouse veranda

The penthouse veranda suite was ~300 sq ft. It was a small palace! Even on the riverboats, the 150 sq ft cabins have adequate, well planned space for all of your clother and travel accessories. I believe that we actually had extra drawer space on the Sea! Fabulous heated bathroom floors and plenty of room.
