I've been on 5 NCL cruises prior which have all been great but this one has by far been the worst cruise experience I have ever encountered. My main issues are with the guest services and shore excursion staff.

The blond woman in charge of guest services was incredibly rude and disrespectful. When we got on board, I had noticed that it did not indicate 3UDP on our key card so we proceeded to guest services to inquire as I had added the 3 night dining package to our trip via the phone. I had already paid for the 4UDP but called customer service to change it from 4UDP to 3UDP. They proceeded to print out a bill for about $162 and tell me that it was never paid for, but because I did not pre-pay it prior to the trip that they would have to charge me the onboard rate of $187. Now I hate to squabble over $25 but it's really the principle of the matter. I explained that I had done this over the phone with an NCL customer service person, and they were to add the dining package to my account and obviously charge me for it and why should I get penalized because they never charged me. She was completely unreasonable to the matter. I proceeded to explain that I have dining reservations made, 1 being Teppanyaki, and there's absolutely no way I would've been able to make that dining reservation (free-of-charge) unless I had the dining package on my account, because Teppanyaki and Moderno have fixed costs so in order to make that reservation, I would've either had to have the dining package OR pay the $35per person rate; she proceeds to tell me that I'm wrong and that patrons are able to make dining reservations free-of-charge all the time. If she has had ANY experience booking a cruise or making dining plans, she would know that 1) you can't just add a dining package without paying for it and 2) you can't making dining reservations for Teppanyaki or Modernos without either having a dining package in place or paying the $35per person rate; instead of trying to fix the situation or offer to contact Miami to try and get more information to resolve the matter, she stands there and tells me that I'm wrong, that I don't know what I'm talking about, and to add insult to injury, she tells me that they probably tried to charge it and my card didn't go through. My credit card can certainly take a $162 charge, and the bill she printed out shows that I ordered the dining package on August 1st, and I showed her my credit card statement on my phone showing that NCL REFUNDED me $198 on August 3rd; so they HAD the money, but instead of refunding me the difference of what I paid and what I owed, they just refunded me everything so I shouldn't be penalized the $25 just because NCL never charged my card over the phone when I made the order.

Then the unnecessary attitude from the woman working at the Shore Excursions desk; we had purchased shore excursions via our tv on Monday night for Wednesday, by the next evening we still had not received our tickets. We ran into our cabin steward on the way to a dinner and inquired if he had any shore excursion tickets for us, he checked and even called someone and informed that he had not received anything; we said no big deal, we'll drop by the shore excursions desk and pick them up ourselves. When we got to the Shore Excursions desk and informed the woman working of the situation, she looks around and said that she does not have the tickets here and therefore we should have them, and we tell her that yes, but we never received them and that we had even checked with the steward prior to coming down to her, at which point she give us this attitude like "fine... I'll just re-print them," yes, you should have re-printed them upon us coming to visit and saying that we never got them. We had just spent $280 for this excursion for the next day and the least she can do is re-print the tickets instead of first accusing us of lying about the whereabouts of the original tickets and giving us a hard time about it.
