This was our 10th Carnival cruise and first time on the Legend and yes...the ships decor is a bit off and the ship could use some freshing up, but otherwise it was a very enjoyable cruise with the new journey concept..more to that later.

Getting on the ship in Vancouver was a breeze..no issues..were on the ship within an hour. Since this was a Hawaiian cruise during our 10 days on the ship we saw a lot of Hawaiian themes..food buffet...Hula dance lessons, Hawaiin deck party, Hawaiiian singers and a Luau. Part of the journey concep was also the return of the midnight buffet which was very well done. We ate once at the steakhouse which is totally worth the $35.00 per person. The hotel manager greeted us at our table which was a nice touch...overall the senior officers including the captain were quite visible throughout the cruise. The food overall was very good, however the breakfast buffet needs to improve on healthier options.

Entertainment was very good..enjoyed the comedians and the hypnotist. The performers were very good as well... the 70's and 80's Rock Show was the best I have seen on any cruise so far! We also took ballroom dance classes which were offered twice a day on sea days..we had a lot of fun..thank you Frances and Myron!
