Chose this cruise as there were lots of places that we had not been before. The ship itself was modern and well equipped and spotlessly clean. The included excursions were very comprehensive and informative in fact some of the best included excursions we have been on. Barmen were not as efficient in making cocktails as they should be and there was insufficient bar waiters leading on occasions to lengthy wait for drinks. The food was good but not the best we have had on river cruises. The one thing that really spoiled the dining experience was the lack of round tables in the dining room which led to people going to the restaurant early in order to reserve tables for their party, which led to "towels on the sun bed" mentality. This also caused people to rush to the restaurant as soon as the evening briefing had finished to secure the best remaining tables.
