Sail Date: Jan 2017

We chose this cruise for the stops it made especially the 2 stops in Africa. The intimate size of the ship and getting to know many of the passengers. We liked the newness of the vessel. Although we were in a bad storm in the Mediterranean we saw little evidence of seasickness, no movement of furniture. We received excellent and frequent updates from the Captain safeguarding weather conditions. The weather was so bad that we had to bypass the port in Valencia Spain and arrived late in Barcelona, our port of deportation. We were given the opportunity to spend that night in Barcelona on board. The Cruise Director brought in a Flamenco Dance team on board for our entertainment. Viking arraigned flight itineraries for us since we had been scheduled to fly back to the U.S. the day before. For the inconvenience this may have caused, Viking sent each of us a $250 coupon vauled for any future Viking cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe veranda

The cabin was modern, emasculate, comfortable, wonderful linens, and heated bathroom floors.
