This cruise was chosen because it was one way ie from Budapest to Nuremberg. We had a horrendous journey out thanks to British Airways leaving 27 bags off the flight that all appeared to be Emerald Waterways customers. One bag arrived on the following flight, the other arriving to the ship at about midnight.
The ship was not the one on the schedule allegedly because of the tides. but somehow managed to be on the Danube and at one time moored up along side us. The ship we were on was the Emerald Sky and not the Emerald Sun.
Cabins were comfortable. Dining was basic and waiters were not very attentive, possibly because their tips were included in the price of the cruise. Entertainment was minimal and activities were restricted on board to the indoor pool, and the gym.
Cabin was comfortable, no tea/coffe making facilities because of the dreaded Health & Safety rules which did not seem to apply to the top tier of cabins where those facilities were available!
