We had a morning walking around the old town of Southampton as our check in was 2.30pm. and a short taxi ride from the hotel. The QM2 had arrived at 9am. Wow what a sight from the Hotel.

Slick booking in, bags disappeared at door and a long and well stocked (receptionist line) – zero queue.

Only hoot was the discussion about the ESTA rules for expiry (unlike a passport it can be the day after you leave eg current ) we had Dec 2017 on ours and there were conversations about this – but not an issue.

Cabin Review

Balcony, sheltered

Cabin BU

Very good. Good sized bed and TV. Small Shower - like camping. Good warerobe space. Small sofa and chair. Mini bar (expensive). The balcony was good to stand in and watch the sea. TIP - put vases under the bed! Good TV.
