I went on the Pride of America for one reason only, it went out of Honolulu and didnot have to be at sea for 3 days from LA. If you didn't do daily excursions you literally died of bordem. The daily activities had no substance to them. Very few educational lectures. Making things out of beads was not on are list of things to do. Thank God for great excursions. Found the young staff working in the buffet to be sub-standard and had to be on them to get anything done. Go on Princess to Hawaii. I have never ever before paid to use a steam and sauna. The hot tubs were cold. There are more food places you have to pay for than ever before. I found the ships stores to be small and lack of good inventory.
We were use to much better over all customer service. Tired of being nickeled and dimed to death. On Princess, the coffee bar on deck 5 you paid for the coffee and the pastry was no charge. Not on NCL. Now there is a special ice cream place on deck 11 that charges you through the nose. We have decided no more cruises. we will go back to land trips.

Cabin was adequate. We have cruised many times. The first day the cabin steward always introduced themselves to us. We never saw are steward until 3 days at sea. The steward did a very good job of keeping are cabin clean and made.
