We chose this cruise as a way of seeing Tahiti and the Society Islands while staying in the comfort of our lovely stateroom. The ship is not too big and carries fewer passengers than the big cruise lines and we prefer the intimacy of a smaller ship. Another reason for choosing this cruise was that all food and drink is included in the price.
The ship is an older style but maintained to a high standard. We had a stateroom on deck 7 with a balcony which was lovely.
There are three restaurants to choose from for dining. All food was of a high standard in the French style and the service was excellent. The staff were all friendly, very attentive and efficient and made us feel welcome.
Our stateroom was beautiful. It had a very cosy feel. We had a balcony which we would highly recommend. It was lovely to have breakfast with the balcony door open and to see where we had arrived at that morning.
It was very clean and the room attendant did an excellent job every day.
The bathroom was stocked with an excellent range of good quality toiletries.
Went on a truck to the village. Not a lot at the village though.
