We were excited for all of the ports this Med Cruise had to offer. We have traveled on NCL in the past but it has been a few years. We found the ports to be great and the ship to be very OK. We did receive a quick reminder that NCL will nickel and dime you at every turn. EVERYTHING costs extra! Freestyle cruising? Not really other than that you don't need a reservation in the main dining rooms. We needed to reserve a space for every entertainment act and any of the better dining rooms. We rarely have opted for the special dining rooms on other cruise lines because we aren't that fussy and have found the regular dining rooms to be really good. That was not the case with NCL the food, even in specialty dining rooms was just OK. Fully edible but not exciting or that great. They charge $7.95 for room service and even with a drink package it doesn't include bottled water. They would rather you drink alcohol.

The beds weren't terrible but also weren't comfortable. The pillows were super flat and very uncomfortable. The cabin service was very slow.

All entertainment costs extra or requires a reservation or both and were only fair. In general everything was just OK.
