Sail Date: Oct 2017
Cabin: Family Oceanview Stateroom

Embarkation was smooth and easy. The Ship itself was fun and I had plenty to do. My entire family enjoyed the Ice show and acrobatics show.

The reason for my poor overall rating: I was not satisfied with the customer service attitude of several of the employees.

First, our stateroom was not appropriate for our children. We had a guaranteed stateroom when we booked through a Royal Caribbean travel agent. She and Royal Caribbean knew the ages of our children (2 and 5) and placed us in a stateroom not able to accommodate our children. The two pull-down bunk-beds were useless as our children could easily fall from them and where not age appropriate. There is even a warning label on the bunks that state it is not appropriate for children under the age of 6. All four of us had to squish into one bed for the entire sailing.

Our cabin was fine, except it wasn't appropriate for our children's ages.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

We took a shuttle ($3 per adult) to a public beach that was wonderful. Tons of chairs and hammocks for public use. There were even kayaks for public use. Very clean and everyone was friendly, not pushy!! We took a cab ($2 per person) back. Don't get tricked into a $50 per person beach day that was being pushed right off the port. The shuttles are in the back of the port, past all the shops. The public beach is the way to go!!!
