My wife and I recently completed a river cruise on Amawaterway's Amalyra from Paris to the English Channel and back and included a tour of the invasion beaches in Normandy which is by itself worth the trip. The trip was our forth on AMA and very pleasant, as usual, with a very helpful and attentive crew that saw to every need of the passengers from the time that you steped foot on the dock until you returned. We have traveled on many different river cruise lines and although the worst cruise could only be described as wonderful we find that Amawaterways is exceptional. This trip was made even more pleasant than most by the personal attention displayed by the hotel manager, Sonia Ferrera. The entire crew was great but Sonia went above and beyond to see to the well being and contentment of each passenger and could only be described as the perfect host. Thank you Sonia. We hope to see you on a future cruise.
