Sail Date: Oct 2017

We chose this ship because it is small and adult only. We sailed on her 2 months earlier as well, and were disappointed to hear that P & O had sold Adonia and that all cruises have been cancelled from the beginning of March next year. This time the embarkation was the same as last time, with the valet parking and straight to the desk with no waiting and then on board and straight up to lunch.Disembarkation was the same as last time as well, with the allocated time for disembark at 0915, and in fact they started disembark at 0805 and we were in our car by 0830, so it seems this is the norm for Arcadia, we cant have been just lucky twice on the trot. The food is standard P & O - very good, although the buffet is not as good as Arcadia, but still up to scratch when you want a lunch or breakfast without the long time. being served.Balcony cabin facing forward was good, if you are not concerned with a little more motion than in the middle of the ship. we never bother much with the entertainment, but others said it was good, we did watch the play in the Curzon lounge which was very good and more intimate than the larger theaters. Cabin stewards are attentive and polite without being intrusive. We had no hot water one night and the plumber was round in 5 minutes and fixed the problem, and that was at 11 at night.
