Booked this cruise with friends that have cruised together for over 15 years. 2nd time on Freedom of the Sea, very disappointed at organization, reduction in service and offerings Really felt like they were trying to get the most out of you for the least amount of quality. Stewards and waiters were very good.

Long lines for check in, asked for map of ship, no longer available, just a single sheet that you could barely read.

Room was fine, as mentioned...before except: hard closing shower doors made it too small for large people, shower curtain would have been better. Shampoo in container stuck on wall that you would bang into. Control on desk to hear announcements was sporatic. Only two English news stations: BBC and CNN (repeated a lot) Went with 2 other couples that have cruised together for over 15 years and multiple cruises. Finally opened connecting balcony doors which was very nice and roomy.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Larger that most other standard with balcony. No timer on TV nor previous channel. No TV channel guide. Activity list too small unless you stood next to the screen.

Announcement control was sporatic.

Hard shower doors you banged into.

Port Reviews

Ibiza

just walked around and shopped

La Spezia (Cinque Terre)

Took big tour to Florence. WOW, a lot of walking and crowds but well worth it and great guides. Somewhat ruined by people that did not read the description and still were allowed to go and all they did was complain of the walking and held the group back. Compliments to the tour manager for helping them find places to sit and catch up with us. Negative waves not appreciated.
