We (adult couple, no kids) wanted a week-long fall color cruise that wasn't round-trip. We spent a few days in Boston prior to the cruise to see the sights and visit relatives. The embarkation process went smoothly...although I'm not sure how my requested check-in time figured into the process.

The ship and our cabin were nicely appointed and new-looking. Everything was kept clean and neat.

In general, the food was good. The desserts were highly disappointing. I ordered the "English Cherry Trifle with strawberries and cream" in the dining room one night and it turned out to be a couple slices of strawberry in cherry Jell-o topped with vanilla pudding. The hot desserts (bread pudding or cobbler with caramel sauce) were good but everything else seems to come from a box. The Indian food on the buffet was awesome! In general, the entree selections were good. We would have liked a "lobster night" in the dining room...we've really enjoyed those on other cruises.
