Overall value is good with built in excursions and new ship which made for excellent vacation. Food using local ingredients and well develop menus was important to us. Also the smaller size made for better interactions with staff and guests. We enjoyed the availability of free bicycles which was key for our traveling companions and made the difference. I liked the fact that our ship had a very good crew that care fore our needs and concerns. Excellent venue for celebrating anniversaries and for meeting other people. We did not spend any time in Basel prior to embarking which was a mistake. If we had done so as it would have helped with jet lag and time for our luggage to arrive. As it turned out our airline (Islantic Air) did not get our bags to us until our last day in Amsterdam. I would avoid going via Iceland unless you are planning to stay for a couple of days. The airport is under sized and under capacity for the volume of people it try's to transfer. Our cruise staff did their best to help accommodate for us with free washing of clothing and tracking down our luggage. We ended up having to buy clothing and toiletries hafe way through our trip but we were reinbursted by our travel insurance.

Cabin Review

Outside Stateroom with French Balcony

Exceptional views with Frech sliding doors floor to ceiling. No need for any balconies as that takes up valuable space for the room and besides your room can be transferred into a balcony with opening the sliding doors.
