Fort us this was the trip of a lifetime and hopefully the first of many with Avalon. Everything went smoothly from our pickup in Budapest all the way to Vienna. The cruise director and the entire crew made this a fantastic experience. Our tour guides for shore excursions were also fantastic. Arrived early at the Sofitel in Budapest and were treated to an upgraded suite overlooking the Chain Bridge. Our Vienna Hotel was great too.

Our cabin was perfect - of course we didn't spend a whole lot of time there! Dining was excellent with all kinds of choices and the wait staff made sure that everything was perfect. English was the language spoken on the ship, so there were no problems with communication. My biggest complaint was that we were so busy and having so much fun that the week went by way too fast. The side excursions we took included a wonderful Hungarian Food and Wine pairing dinner and a trip in the countryside to a horse farm.

It was a great value and we'll be going again!
