This was our first cruise on Costa. We were apprehensive because we never cruise on Costa before.
Favolosa is a beautiful and great boat, maybe the decor is a bit to roccoco for my taste but the service is top notch. We were upgraded to a suite with balcony which quite large, with many closets, a great bath with 2 sinks and a jacuzzi tub and shower. As were on a suite we had a choice of different pillows. The bed was king size. We took the private valet service for 100 Euros which included fruit and chocolates everyday, a bottle of Prosecco the first day and a dinner at the Club Favolosa. Our valet was from India and he was fantastic.
The balcony was big and two large lounge chairs and a table..
Excellent suite with great balcony, king size bed, choice of pillows, bath robes and slippers, bath with 2 sinks and jacuzzi tub/shower.
Great service from our valet and steward.
Great embarcation port beside the famous Casa de Campo resort.
Nice island with friendly people
The island is very beautiful, however Fort the France is dirty and looks like a shanty town in some places
We hired a bike taxi and we went around town. We liked Pointe a Pitre better than Fort de France. We shopped at the spices market.
For me this is maybe the best island in the Eastern Caribbean. We love it. Half Dutch and half French. Excellent food and friendly people. Great beaches too.
It is a shame that our stop there was only about 6 hours (due to high cruise port fees).
