We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and because of the reports we had read from previous travelers about the quality of the ship, the food and the tours. We did an 8 day cruise on the Danube plus three additional days in Prague, and were completely satisfied with the meals, the selection of daily tour excursions, cabin layout, and onboard entertainment. We were greeted every afternoon upon returning to the ship with a beverage and a warm welcome Service in the dining room was friendly, food selection and quantity was perfect, cleanliness and quality of ship furnishings met our expectations, and the staff always did above and beyond to meet our needs. There were multiple options each day of activities/tours to engage in that involved walking and buses, and always with well informed/educated tour guides from the local area. I would consider AMA Waterways on my next river cruise, without a doubt.
