,The ship was smaller than the previous Viking cruises we have been on, but was perfect.
The tours both by bus and on foot in Berlin provided a tremendous amount of information, and whet our appetite to return another day
The shuttle from the hotel to the ship had engine failure, but was handled in a professional and expeditious manner.Boarding and embarkation was so smooth we were off before we knew it. Danny the cruise director was at our beck and call, yet able to get all facets of the cruise done so that if there were any glitches, we weren't aware of them. Our cabin was on the lower level. The bed was comfortable, the shower and toilet adequate. The TV was informative and entertaining. The on board entertainment was quite enjoyable. The lecture on Communist occupation of Berlin was informative and an eye opener.
The food was delicious and was of enough variance that I never had a bad or mediocre meal. The staff could not have been more professional.
The shore excursions were given by tour guides that really knew their stuff.
We had been on two previous Viking cruises, France, Lyon to Avignon, and Budapest to Amsterdam. My summary is that I cannot think of a single thing to complain about,
The bed was comfortable and sleep came easy. The shower and toilet facities were quite adequate. The TV was clear and provided information and entertainment.
