We wanted to go to Acapulco to see the cliff divers and then to go through the canal. so we picked Norwegian Pearl as it went to both places. We did not know it was a reposition cruise.

We flew into LA from DFW, spent the night near the port, and got over to the ship at 11:30 am. We got onboard fairly easily and headed up to the buffet for lunch. We were surprised to get to go to our room so quickly, the room seemed quite small, and there was no table to lay anything down on. Our luggage arrived quickly.

We wandered around the ship and got ready for dinner. We went to the main dining room for our first meal. After waiting for about 20 minutes someone finally brought us some bread and eventually our dinner and then our food was cold! We were informed after the first night we would have to wear long pants and shoes to eat there again.
