Our river cruise on the Luminary was amazing. We embarked in Budapest and were greeted and given our cabins by delightful front desk staff. We had booked the 3rd floor which we are glad we did. Rooms were comfortable for my husband and our adult daughter was across the hall.

We had been touring Ireland before we flew to Budapest and had rental apartment while budapest. passengers we had meet over the cruise said that Avalon had provided nice hotel and tours in Budapest before the river cruise. We also opted out of the extra days in Prague, and stayed in old nuremberg before flying home from Frankfurt.

The Staff and crew seemed to be new in their contacts so they seemed somewhat shy at first. They were all delightful and made our trip amazing, fun, with lots laughter and great service. Read more
