This was our first riverboat cruise and I loved it from the moment I stepped on the ship. We arrived a couple of days early to explore Paris. We did not know that we would be boarding the Tapestry II so late in the afternoon and was surprised when we got to the meeting place that we would be expected to just sit there and wait. We chose to leave our luggage and do some sightseeing.

The food and service on the ship was very good. We had the royal suite so our room was. slightly larger than the average room. Our bathroom was really nice with double sinks, a large shower, and the toilet in a separate room.

There was very limited entertainment onboard but we were prepared for that. And we were so tired at the end of the day we just enjoyed sitting on the top deck after dinner and watching the scenery go by and talking to the other guests.
