Our favorite bartenders in the Viking Bar: Natasha, Nicola and Jan
Our guide in the Botanical Gardens in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The Viking Classical Trio at Afternoon Tea in the Wintergarden

The Viking Bar was our favorite hangout; we had excellent service from Jan, Natasha and Nicola. Our favorite restaurant was The Chef's Table with it's five course dinner with wine pairings. Since the menu changes every three days, we were able to enjoy the experience five times. We also enjoyed Manfredi's with it's excellent selection of Italian entree's. The lamb chops were our favorite.

A highlight of the cruise was the Viking Classical Trio. We enjoyed the excellent playing by the flutist, violist and cello in several venues, including afternoon tea, the Viking Bar, and others. Their selections were varied and their repertoire was quite extensive so the they rarely repeated any selections.

The shore excursions were enjoyable and informative. The guides were generally excellent, though the most outstanding were PJ in Quebec City and the young woman in New York whose name escapes me.
