I go out of Charleston S.C. to save airfare. My last cruise was out of S.C. it was the Fantasy ship. This was my 4th cruise since 2000. After this last cruise, I might look elsewhere. My last cruise mid-week we had a midnight meal, plus a movie, well not this ship. We had a movie, but 5 pm, with all my grandkids we did the 6:15 dinner, so we could not go to the movie, (Wonder Woman). Last cruise we had a talent show with the passengers, not this cruise. Last cruise we had what is called the Captains dinner, not this cruise. We had steak & lobster that night, not this cruise. We had a dress up night for pictures, nothing else. My last cruise we had a party for Alumni, not this cruise. We had 10 1st timers and I ask em what they thought of their cruise. They said all we do is swim & eat, We went to a private Island to swim. We did shop at Freeport a bit. I told them it might be the age of an old ship or Carnival cruise cutbacks. I also was bored, maybe I will try a bigger ship with more things to do. Kids loved it, they went swimming from 9:30 AM till 10 PM. Guys burger was great. I bought faster to the fun, I got on the ship in 10 minutes....Great room E299 the same floor as the piano bar....
Good size; 2 of us. We had two bunks we did not use but did hit our heads on them from time to time. Very clean, I never do room service, I am an early bird, I eat at 7 am.
Very rocky, very hard to walk into the water. It was a very nice Island, lots of chairs/chase. you can rent tubes I would do this because you can not walk in this water...
I stay at sleep inn in Charleston that they keep my car and saves me port fees. I shuttle to the ship.
We just shopped this time. My 3rd time to this Island so I did not do an excursion.
