We are cruise lovers and found this cruise at an incredible price. So we jumped on it! We had sailed Royal once before on Independence of the Seas. We were not overly impressed or felt that Royal offered anything else that the others did for less money. We were told by others not to judge Royal by that one cruise, so we decided to try again, especially with the price being so low. Overall I would say it was about the same experience. Staff and house keeping were great. They tried extra hard to make cruise relaxing and enjoyable. Food, not so great, usually just warm and not very tasty. Best meal of the week was at Johnny Rockets, great burger and onion rings. But you pay extra for that.

Shows on smaller ship were not as good as larger, but cruise director was fantastic. He really made you feel welcomed. Singers were lacking what I would call "soul", the music choices were just not right for them. Great juggler and comedian was ok, but nothing to brag about.

Cococay was the highlight! Beautiful beaches and calm clear water. The best beach we hav ever been on. No one there but us! Must have been only about 25 people in the area we chose to sun and relax. Well worth the trip all by itself. Nassau is still Nassau, not much has changed in the years we have been cruising.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

Very small, go outside to change your mind! Had to crawl to end of bed or climb over wife to go to the bathroom. Noisy at port arrival. Smal closet, only three shelves.
