Cabin: Family Ocean View Stateroom

We cruised with Royal Caribbean for our honeymoon 25 years ago, and about 10 years ago for another Caribbean cruise. Both were fine. We are ending our 8 day Mediterranean cruise on Rhapsody, and it has been the worst of the three. Our stateroom is spacious with lots of storage and a nice balcony. Service to the room was very good. The food was Meh at best. Often lukewarm and tasteless. We went to lunch in the main dining room one time. Our server was Asian and didn't understand English at all. The food was terrible. Dinner in the evening didn't have 1/2 of the wines listed, so we were forced to settle for less quality wines. We bought the upper level drink package for access to good wines and they didn't even have them any of the days. The off shore excursions, albeit expensive were exceptional. Boarding and offboarding smooth and efficient. Often there was chaos and losing reservations for dinner. We will never cruise with this cruise line again. Entertainment was the worst we have experienced on a cruise ship, often dark with no show at all. One specialty restaurant was good (we took advantage of the 2 for one deal). Our cabin was right off the Centrum three floors up, so we were forced to listen to the blaring music until 10 when they would shut the sound doors. Next time I cruise, I will check where in the ship my stateroom is.

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin FO

Nice bed. Sofa worn. No outlet in the bathroom. Plenty of storage and a little refridgerator.

Nice balcony. The cabin was the best part of the ship experience.
