We selected this cruise because when we compared to other cruise lines, sailing times, etc. we got more for our money. We are a family of four (two teenage children) so we definitely needed space for a five day cruise. We opted for a grand suite and so happy we did. The couch folds out to a bed plus we had a roll-away cot so every had their own bed to sleep in. Our stateroom steward, Viktor was amazing. Every morning he greeted us with a smile and took a few minutes each day to chat with us. When we came back to our rooms later in the afternoon, our beds were ready and the room was clean.
Everyone from the staff we encountered was very nice and helpful. Service was impeccable. Everyone from the bartenders, to service staff, to maintenance crew would always say hello with a smile.
Entertainment was ok although we didn't attend very many of the shows. We spent some time in the Oak Room where they had board games and a library. Our daughter got a manicure in the spa that she enjoyed. We did have a table in the dining room but only went once. The food was very good but we just ended up eating at the buffet for all of our meals.
This port was incredibly disappointing. As soon as you get off the ship there are tons of shops with a lot of pushy shopkeepers bothering you to buy. Whatever you do, make sure to haggle. Don't pay the price marked on any of the items. Beach was 20 minutes away which you needed to hire a taxi for which was $7 per person one way (x4 = $28 cab ride) so opted not to spend $50 on cab fare. We ordered lunch at one of the food stands and it wasn't very good. We only spent about 90 minutes off of the ship.
