Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

I had a great cruise. Met lots of interesting people and the staff and service personnel were very pleasant and helpful.

However, the ship was almost too large and the public areas (atrium, especially) were very noisy. The food overall, was adequate, nothing to write home about. The buffet had a decent variety of foods, but it was always crowded and the same food was presented at all the stations. One had to walk around several times to find something nice to eat.

The dining room had limited choices, and the menu did not change very much, overall. I totally disliked not having a regular time to plan to eat, and having to wait for a table in the dining room.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

Cabin was well laid out - we had to ask for the beds to be separated. There was sufficient storage space. Small bathroom, especially after have had a mini suite for the previous back to back Baltic Cruise. Balcony was very small, barely fit two chairs, and difficult to get in and out of if someone was already on the balcony.

The cabin was very close to the front of the ship, and therefore the noise from the ship cutting through the water was very loud. We were on the 14th floor on the previous cruise, midship, and it was much quieter. It was too noisy, sometimes, to leave the balcony door open at night. I would not want a cabin this far forward another time. Perhaps another 10-15 cabins further down would be better, I could not see the waves breaking there.

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

Had a local friend who took us around. Great scenery and many places to visit. Did not do the beaches, etc., as there was too much else to do. Went to St. Georges the next day, enjoyed walking around the old town. Would recommend taking the ferry there as early as possible to allow more time for walking around.
