Well for the boarding things went pretty smooth. We were on board by 11;15. O.K. the ship is quite nice. The rooms weren't ready before 2:00P.M. From then on things went south. We had booked this cruise in March 2017 an had made all the arrangements for the early dinning with a table for two. Well no way did we get our table but we were seated with six other people. We never went back to the dinning room. The staff never made any effort to accommodate us " this was our birthday cruise " . For the rooms they were very small compared to other cruise lines. RC & Carnival have much nicer accommodations. Now for the food we thought that this being an Italian ship that the food would be fantastic but we were very disappointed. In the buffet area for breakfast I don't know when they start preparing but everything was dead cold. The eggs were cold, the bacon looked like they fried it . Lunch was not any better If you like to eat sandwiches on your cruise well good for you. Supper not much better no variety they had very little choice in meats and there too all was cold. Now for the desserts very poor choice ( cream puffs, small lemon squares, no pies or cakes at all). The shore excursions were o.k. been there before. All in all not a great ship to travel on.
