We wanted to experience a river cruise. It was lovely and we enjoyed all ports we visited. The ship was very nice, the cabin satisfactory, dining excellent. However, the entertainment was very poor. Service was great.
Ports were good choices and shore excursions good too. Excursion experiences should specify exactly how much physical activity is expected i.e, so many miles of walking etc.
The Monograms experience in Nice was not good. The room at the hotel was not comfortable. In all our travels have never seen a shower like this one. The breakfast room, service and food were not up to par with the cruise. This hotel(can't remember name) was not a good choice.

The hotel in Nice was not a good choice. Poor service, bad room and bathroom and breakfast area and food mediocre. This needs to be reviewed by Avalon.
