From my spot on the beach on Coco Cay. You can see the floating bar in the
Drinking Loco Cocos in Coco Cay! There is also a BBQ buffet provided, which
Docked in Key West before we departed the ship. Spent the day bar hopping,

My boyfriend and I sailed on Oasis of the Seas in early 2016 and wanted to try out a smaller boat. With only two people, the Oasis was just too large and crowded for our taste. We opted for the Enchantment because of its size and the length of the cruise. 5 days and 4 nights was a perfect getaway.

Embarkation: We arrived in Miami on Monday morning around 10:30. We were able to sign up for the RCCL shuttle at the airport (around $18 per person, charged to our account), and were on it by 11:00. We reached the port around 11:20/11:30 and went straight to the check-in line. My boyfriend began chatting with an employee who was really friendly and he ended up putting us straight to the front of the line! We were so surprised and thankful. We were on the ship and eating in the Windjammer by noon. It was so easy and smooth.

The Ship: Many say it's outdated inside and beat up outside, but I can say that I'm not nearly that picky and I found the ship to be beautiful and clean. Sure, there's rust here and there on the hull, but this ship is 20 years old and sails in SALTWATER full time. What can you expect? The interior had a luxurious feel to it, especially the Centrum. The pool deck was nice and we could always find seats (try that on Oasis...ha). The ship was not crowded at all, and there were only about 10 children traveling total. The demographic was a mix of young people like myself (20s) and retired aged people. Not many families with young kids.

Large Inside Stateroom

Cabin K

Smaller than our Oasis interior, but very conveniently arranged. The bed was against a back wall, so we weren't having to step past it all the time. Everything was very clean, air conditioning/heat worked great. We had a flickering light on the last day and our stewardess had it fixed while we were at dinner (without us even mentioning it).

Port Reviews

Key West

It was your typical shopping/bar hopping day. Nothing really special about it, we ended up going back to the boat early. Next time I plan to book an excursion here.

Miami

Upon disembarking we took a cab to the Ramada Miami Springs Hotel. It was right outside the airport. Really clean and cute. There was a restaurant attached and a really nice pool. We arrived very early (got off the ship by 9:00) and they happily stored our luggage behind the counter and allowed us access to the breakfast and the pool. We checked in at noon and took a shuttle to the airport the next morning. Super easy and convenient.
